Scholarship Information

The GEMS (Generating EMPOWER Managers’ Success) Board is dedicated to building relationships among EMPOWER users at all levels.  The most popular way for members to network with one another is at the annual GEMS conference.  To encourage members to attend the conference, we have developed the GEMS Conference Scholarship.  The scholarship will be used as a way to encourage individuals to attend the GEMS conference who may not typically be able to attend due to financial constraints.

The GEMS Conference Scholarship will cover the entire conference fee of $250.  Transportation and lodging will be the responsibility of the attendee.

Timeline

In order to be considered, you must have your application submitted by March 19, 2012.  The GEMS Board will review all applications, and will have final answers to all scholarship applicants by April 2, 2012.

Application Procedure

• Complete the application by typing or printing neatly.
• Email, fax, or mail the completed application by March 19, 2012 to one of the addresses listed below.
• Applicants who have been awarded a scholarship need to accept the scholarship by April 9, 2012 and must register for the conference by April 30, 2012.  If these deadlines are not met, the scholarship will be forfeited.
